Wadevo generates portable design systems — tokens, a living style guide, a component library, and a DESIGN.md — from a short prompt or a reference image, and is operated by Tamarack Hills LLC (“Wadevo,” “we,” “us”). By using Wadevo you agree to these Terms.
1. The service, as it works today
- No account is required. The Studio is open and doesn’t gate generation behind a login. No sign-up, no profile, no stored history.
- We fund the generation. Every generation runs on Google Gemini via a single Wadevo platform key. You supply no keys and pay no provider costs today.
- Generation is rate-limited. To protect the shared key, generation is limited per IP to 8 requests/minute and 40/day, and the waitlist form to 5/minute and 30/day per IP. We may change these limits at any time.
- Your result is returned to you, not stored by us. The system you generate is streamed to your browser for download; we keep no copy.
2. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload images or prompts containing other people’s personal data without their consent.
- Generate systems intended to copy or infringe another party’s registered trademark or trade dress.
- Use automation, scraping, or bulk generation to bypass the per-IP rate limiter or overload the service.
- Reverse-engineer Wadevo’s prompts, engine, or outputs to build a competing extraction pipeline.
- Use Wadevo in any way that violates Google’s Gemini API terms and Acceptable Use Policy, which govern every generation call.
We may rate-limit, restrict, or block use that breaks these rules.
3. Ownership of what you generate
You own the output artifacts you generate and download — tokens, CSS, Tailwind config, DESIGN.md, the component library, and style-guide HTML. Wadevo claims no license over them; use them in your projects, commercial or otherwise. Honest caveats:
- Copyright may not attach. Under current U.S. Copyright Office guidance, AI-generated material lacking meaningful human authorship may not be registrable. We don’t warrant that your output is copyrightable.
- No exclusivity. The engine may produce similar results for different prompts; we don’t guarantee uniqueness or freedom from similarity to existing works.
- You’re responsible for what you ship. You must check that output is suitable, lawful, and non-infringing for your use.
4. AI output is provided “as-is” — verify before you ship
Output is provided as-is. We do not warrant accuracy, brand fit, accessibility/WCAG conformance, or fitness for production use.
5. How your data is handled
Full detail is in our Privacy Policy. In summary: generation input is sent inline to Google Gemini and not stored by Wadevo; generated output is returned to your browser and not stored by Wadevo; your waitlist email (and optional “which tool” field) is the only personal data we retain; rate-limit state is per-IP and in-memory only. We keep no server-side consent log, audit log, or user account today, and don’t claim to.
6. Future features (not available today)
These are on our roadmap and are not active. Nothing in the current UI enables them:
- User accounts and login (Phase 3). Auth is integrated in code but disabled; the Studio is public. We won’t describe generation as “account-protected” until login is enforced.
- Bring-your-own provider keys / BYOK (Phase 3). A future version may let you supply your own key, stored encrypted at rest. You cannot submit a key today, and we store none.
- Additional model providers (Phase 3). Today all generation runs on Google Gemini.
- Saved systems, version history, and account-bound exports (Phase 3).
If we ever advertise paid tiers, the features in each tier will be enforced in the backend before we charge for them. We gate no paid feature today.
7. Service availability & warranty disclaimer
Wadevo is provided “as-is” and “as-available.” We don’t warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any output will be accurate or fit for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, including the free allowance and the rate limits above.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Wadevo will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or business interruption, arising from your use of the service.
- Wadevo’s total aggregate liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of (a) USD $50 or (b) what you paid Wadevo in the 12 months before the claim. (Wadevo is free today, so this defaults to USD $50.)
9. Governing law & changes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. We may update these Terms; for material changes we’ll post the update here at least 30 days before it takes effect and update the “Last updated” date.
