Wadevo generates portable design systems — tokens, a living style guide, a component library, and a DESIGN.md — from a short prompt or a reference image, and is operated by Tamarack Hills LLC (“Wadevo,” “we,” “us”). By using Wadevo you agree to these Terms.
1. The service, as it works today
- Browsing is open; generating needs an account. The gallery, /try, and the free check are public. Generation, Brand Check on your systems, and agent access require a signed-in account (authentication by Clerk).
- We fund the default generation; you can bring your own key. The free tier (3 generations) runs on Google Gemini via Wadevo’s platform key. You may store your own Gemini, OpenAI, or Anthropic API key in Settings — generations on your key are billed by your provider to you, are never metered by us, and run under your agreement with that provider.
- Everything is rate-limited. To protect the shared infrastructure, generation is limited per IP (8/minute, 40/day), Brand Check and the free check have their own per-IP and daily caps, and the waitlist form is limited to 5/minute and 30/day per IP. We may change these limits at any time.
- Your generated systems are saved to your dashboard (signed in) so you can reopen and re-export them; your prompts, reference images, and Brand Check screenshots are not stored. Details in the Privacy Policy.
2. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload images or prompts containing other people’s personal data without their consent.
- Generate systems intended to copy or infringe another party’s registered trademark or trade dress.
- Use automation, scraping, or bulk generation to bypass the per-IP rate limiter or overload the service.
- Reverse-engineer Wadevo’s prompts, engine, or outputs to build a competing extraction pipeline.
- Use Wadevo in any way that violates the terms of the AI provider behind your run — Google’s Gemini API terms on the platform path, or OpenAI’s / Anthropic’s terms when the run uses your own key with that provider.
- Share, resell, or pool access to your account or your agent-access API keys.
We may rate-limit, restrict, or block use that breaks these rules.
3. Ownership of what you generate
You own the output artifacts you generate and download — tokens, CSS, Tailwind config, DESIGN.md, the component library, and style-guide HTML. Wadevo claims no license over them; use them in your projects, commercial or otherwise. Honest caveats:
- Copyright may not attach. Under current U.S. Copyright Office guidance, AI-generated material lacking meaningful human authorship may not be registrable. We don’t warrant that your output is copyrightable.
- No exclusivity. The engine may produce similar results for different prompts; we don’t guarantee uniqueness or freedom from similarity to existing works.
- You’re responsible for what you ship. You must check that output is suitable, lawful, and non-infringing for your use.
4. AI output is provided “as-is” — verify before you ship
Output is provided as-is. We do not warrant accuracy, brand fit, accessibility/WCAG conformance, or fitness for production use.
5. How your data is handled
Full detail is in our Privacy Policy. In summary: generation input is sent inline to the run’s AI provider (Google Gemini on our key; OpenAI/Anthropic on yours) and not stored by Wadevo; generated systems are saved to your dashboard while you have an account; your provider keys are stored encrypted and removable; prompts, images, and Brand Check screenshots are not retained; rate-limit state is per-IP and in-memory only.
6. Future features (not available today)
These are on our roadmap and are not active. Nothing in the current UI enables them:
- Paid tiers and billing. Pricing is published and founding-member preorders are available through Stripe Payment Links with manual activation, but no feature is gated behind payment today — everything live is free during early access.
- Version history and the skills library.
- One-click data export and self-service account deletion (handled by email until then).
When paid tiers activate, the features in each tier will be enforced in the backend before we charge for them. We gate no paid feature today.
7. Service availability & warranty disclaimer
Wadevo is provided “as-is” and “as-available.” We don’t warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any output will be accurate or fit for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, including the free allowance and the rate limits above.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Wadevo will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or business interruption, arising from your use of the service.
- Wadevo’s total aggregate liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of (a) USD $50 or (b) what you paid Wadevo in the 12 months before the claim. (Wadevo is free today, so this defaults to USD $50.)
9. Governing law & changes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. We may update these Terms; for material changes we’ll post the update here at least 30 days before it takes effect and update the “Last updated” date.
